WARM UP
The warm up is a key area to include in training as we will teach the goalkeeper different ways of warming up to prevent injury. We will teach them the difference between DYNAMIC and STATIC stretching and why one is better than the
other for your body. We believe a good warm up is a habit and with the tools we will provide the players can prevent injury for the remaining of the playing career.
GOALKEEPING TECHNIQUE
There will be two techniques worked on per session. There techniques will be perfected over two sessions using different drills and exercises.
The coaching process will teach goalkeepers hot to do the required techniques correctly but also safely.
For example how to land correctly after a dive to prevent injury, also how to jump and catch high ball amongst players while protecting yourself.
All goalkeepers that attend will finish the clinic with a greater understanding of how to goal keep safely as well as correctly.
SHOT STOPPING
All sessions will finish by working on shot stopping after are technique work is finished. All technique work done during session will be relevant to the shot stopping.
